A beautiful Victorian period bisque socket head baby doll, having large brown eyes set in creamy bisque with a touch of rose to her cheeks, open mouth with teeth showing. This lovely German doll was produced by Cuno & Otto Dressel during the 1910s. Her mark on the back indicates her as a bit of a more rare mold number being the 1912-5 we often see the 1912-4 mold. She also measures 26" in length from toes to her head. Her mohair wig appears to be original and is in a pretty rich brown color with a hint of auburn and set in curls to surround her face. She has a pose-able composition body and has been re-dressed in a vintage satin and lace wedding type cream dress with matching hat. A lovely little lady ready for a new home and display.

No cracks, chips or repairs to her bisque head. There is some chipping to the paint on her body, but all body parts are intact including all her fingers. Hair appears to be her original mohair wig. Her string is good but she could benefit from a restring to bring her slightly tighter however she sits and stands fine with her arms being a bit on the loose side. Re-dressed in a vintage costume.
