A beautiful satin glass covered jar in diamond quilt pattern, set in the MOP (mother of pearl) pink cranberry.
The bowl and lid measure 5.5" tall to lids handle.
We are attributing this to Mt. Washington Glass Company as there is no maker's mark, which was typical for them, but the quality and design is far to superior to be of the other companies that followed in their steps. There has also been attributions to Thomas Webb, it is very difficult to determine which house produced this particular jar, both being of high quality with a hand in detail and craftsmanship.
The color is exceptional, the feel of the glass is magnificent, there is absolutely no damage to the piece.
Some refer to this as a ginger jar or biscuit jar, would even work on a vanity either way displays beautifully!
