Dugan Amethyst Carnival Glass Grape Delight Rose Bowl Vase

A beautiful carnival glass rose bowl vase or simply nut bowl, made by the Dugan Glass Co of Indiana executed in amethyst with a wonderful iridescence showing heavy hues of blue, fuchsia, gold and purple with a mirror like effect. Referred to as the "Grape Delight" pattern, the rose bowl displays round, plump grape clusters in raised relief and finely detailed and stippled leaves. There is also a trailing vine weaving above the clusters. The top has has 8 crimped ruffles at the top rim and 6 block style feet. Fabulous color and design in excellent condition.

This piece is around 100 years old and is in excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. This is antique carnival glass and may have old/straw marks, small bubbles, cinders and color variants of iridizations are typical of all carnival glass. And does not necessarily detract from the beauty or character of any piece.
